SERVICES PROVIDED BY MAI

• Available to meet with you and your family and / or friends to further explain the concept, and clarify any issues.
• Advice on the formation and membership of your Microboard.
• Facilitation of a Person Centred Plan(PCP)
• Encouragement in implementing the PCP

MAI provides where required:

• Support in developing a funding application
• Assistance to the Microboard to develop a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with the funder if necessary
• Assistance to the Microboard in developing skills and procedures: financial, planning, accountability
• MAI organises training in Governance, responsibilities and assistance to the Microboard to register with Companies Registration Office (CRO).
• MAI provides support to Microboards and clarifies issues, if necessary. MAI does not have a role in approving your plan for the funder.

Project staff assist Microboards with the practical implementation of the following:

• The Person Centred Plan
• Selection and recruitment procedures
• Constituting the Microboard
• Accounting procedures/ insurance quotes
• Developing a direct payment proposal - Empowering and supporting the Microboard
• MAI provides further advice and support to the Microboard as required.
