MICROBOARD ASSOCIATION OF IRELAND
MAI, the Microboard Association of Ireland was established in 2006 as a support structure to help people of all ages with physical and sensory, intellectual and/or mental health disabilities and their communities to develop Microboards. MAI supports Microboards in their person centred approach to enhancing the quality of lives of people with disabilities.
MAI works with individuals, their families and more recently Service Providers to support people to establish Microboards.
MAI will strive to effect change at policy, organisational and practice levels and, using person centred approaches, to enhance the lives of individuals by encouraging the promotion and creation of Microboards.
IS A MICROBOARD FOR YOU?
Are you or a family member unsatisfied with the current level of service you are receiving?
Would you like more control over the people who come and in and out of your life?
Do you feel like you would like more choice in your day to day lifestyle?
If you answered yes to any of these questions a Microboard may be the way forward for you and your family/friends. For more information on MAI and Microboards please click on the relevant links or contact a member of staff on 057 93 24811 or e-mail
